Message from Jane Karigo, Calvary Zion Director to Calvary Zion Children's Home Support TrustA big hello from the Zion family.
We all thank you for all the great work you are doing in Scotland. Thankyou so much for all the money you have sent us and more recent 600,000 Kenyan Shillings you deposited in our account. The buildings are going on well, we are trusting GOD to touch more people for more fundraising. |

Calvary Zion Children's Home is a non- profit making charity which offers care, upbringing and education of abandoned and orphaned children.
The Home was opened in 1998 by a local woman called Jane Karigo.
In 2008 Calvery Zion Childrens Home celebrated its 10th anniversary.
Jane said "the 10th anniversary was a total success, very colourful and
glorious. Our friends from WALES came to celebrate with us. The venue
was at the site of the new Home."
The children can come from all over Kenya. Some are found in the streets, perhaps their parents have died or have abandoned them. Others may be brought to the Home by their family who are no longer able to care for them. There is a high level of deaths of parents through HIV/AIDS and a high level of poverty in the country. When they first arrive at Calvary Zion, the children's age could be anything from new born to 21 years.
