Great ideas to help you fundraise
Calvary Zion survives wholly on fundraising such as donations and jumble sales. This goes towards supporting the day to day running costs of Calvary Zion, but it is not enough to finance any income generating projects.
For example, the house used at the moment by Calvary Zion is rented and it only has 4 bedrooms for over 30 children. With the help of the Trust and other supporters they have bought a piece of nearby ground on which to build a larger house.
This will give the Home more security and there will be enough land to keep goats and chickens and grow vegetables to feed the children.

In order to reassure you that donations are secure we have a link to Just Giving a charity fundraising website. This has the advantage of being able to reclaim Gift-aid from donations made by U.K. tax payers and makes full use of every penny donated.
