Susan, the Chair of the Calvary Zion Childrens Home Support Trust and Liz, a Trust committee member, visited Kenya and spent a month with Jane and the children. They went first to Nairobi and had a weekend with the older girls who are at boarding school there. Then they went to Mombasa to spend time with the younger children where they had a birthday party and took the children to the beach. They were able to view the land which has been bought for the new home and see the plans which have been drawn up.. They also visited some of the schools which the children attend, and most of all were able to see that the children are happy and well- cared for. |

Paul McCartney wrote: "My wife and I have been going to Kenya since 2002 and we always return in October. We met Moses in 2002 with the other children and we keep returning to do what we can each year. We get a cake made every year we are there and we spend most of the day at Calvary Zion Home. We pay for Moses to go to school each year and when we are on holiday we pop to Mombasa to get his uniform and books. This year we have another 20 boxes over 350 Kg full of clothes, toy, books, bedding, shoes and many other things, most of which we take to the home and some villages." |
